Student Affairs > Conference Co-Ordination
Ever since its inception, SPIL, Mumbai has sought to encourage the interest in International Law, not only within Government Law College but on a far broader scale. SPIL wishes to accomplish this vision through its workshops, lecture series, debates and paper presentations.
SPIL recognizes the importance and the need to advance the studies of International Law, and for this purpose it has joined hands with bodies that share the same objectives. It seeks to act as an interface for students to avail of the benefits of other organizations with similar visions. For this purpose, it sends a delegation of students to attend various seminars on International Law organized by the Indian Society for International Law. It also takes pride in being a registered chapter of the prestigious International Law Students’ Association, which is renowned for its various activities such as the Jessup Moot Court Competition. SPIL also promotes other conferences, seminars and lectures that are organized by similar bodies.
