Ever since its inception, SPIL, Mumbai has sought to encourage the interest in International Law, not only within Government Law College but on a far broader scale. SPIL wishes to accomplish this vision through its workshops, lecture series, debates and paper presentations.

Interactive sessions and Idea Exchange Programmes conducted by professors are engaging while at the same time, didactic. Members of the legal fraternity have always shown a kind interest in addressing the students in areas of their legal expertise. Workshops have served as an enjoyable means of study, departing from the usual class room technique. There have been several workshops that have dealt comprehensively with various aspects of International Law, ranging from writing papers and articles, to understanding and interpreting judgments, to understanding the various concepts of International Law.
